DAREM INTERNS CONDUCTED A DOOR-TO-DOOR SENSITIZATION ON DOMESTIC AND COMMUNITY PEACE IN BUEA’S MBORORO COMMUNITY.

In a dedicated effort to foster peace and harmony, interns from the Daraja Reube Mbororo Development Association (DAREM) embarked on a door-to-door sensitization campaign in the Mbororo community of Buea town. This initiative aimed to educate residents on the importance of domestic and community peace, encouraging practices that promote understanding and conflict resolution.

The Mbororo people are a subgroup of Fulani ethnic group, where they have a rich cultural heritage deeply rooted in pastoralism and traditional beliefs. Hence, in the south West region of Cameroon, the Mbororo community maintains a distinct way of life, with unique practices surrounding sexual and reproductive health (SRHR).
